What is the Latin Fashion Awards?
The Latin Fashion Awards (LAFA) is more than an event. It’s a movement. A celebration of the creativity, passion, and innovation that our designers, artists, and visionaries bring to the global stage. This is where our legacy meets the spotlight.
Why Now?
The Latin Fashion Awards Have Been Building This Moment Since 2011. The Latin Fashion Awards in Washington D.C. have been the unshakeable pillar of our region’s creative resistance – celebrating icons like Agatha Ruiz de la Prada (Spain), Andres Aquino (Dominican Republic), and Maurizio Alberino (Italy) long before global institutions acknowledged Latin America’s fashion sovereignty. As seen in the Washington Post.
"We didn't wait for permission to make history" --SobeidVidal - Founder.
For over a decade, we've:
✧ Validated Latin designers as equals to European houses
✧ Proven our aesthetic has global commercial power
✧ Built the infrastructure for today's Latin fashion explosion
Now the world is finally catching up.
With Latin designers now leading at Latin Fashion Awards (LATA), our textiles in Met Gala collections, and Gen Z demanding our vibrant aesthetic – the Latin Fashion Awards' mission has never been more urgent or relevant.
This isn't a trend. It's a takeover. And now the World Is Ready
Our Aesthetic Is Everywhere – From runways in Paris to street styles in Tokyo, Latin American influence is undeniable.
Our Talent Is Unstoppable – Designers from Bogotá to Buenos Aires are reshaping luxury, sustainability, and avant-garde fashion.
